Coleman Wins the A Main at Lawrenceburg Speedway in what some are calling "The Race of the Year at Lawrenceburg". Coleman and Robert Ballou put on a show for the fans for 24 laps until contact sent the 81 of Ballou flying.
Iceman also picks up a Podium Finish at Bloomington Speedway, charging from 11th to 3rd. Early struggles at the Silver Crown ORP race cost the Iceman his first Non Top 10 in 4 Silver Crown Starts.
Thanks to Mickey Meyer of Racing Associates for a great few days of racing...
Coleman ran the ASCS Canyon Region in Tuscon; the USAC Silver Crown at Iowa Speedway and the Famed Hoosier 100 at Indy Fairgrounds. 2 of the 3 were top 10 finishes with a stout field of racers. See results below..

The Finish does not show how good Coleman was on this night. From 10th to 2nd in the A Main and was set for an 8 Lap Dash with Charles Davis for the Win. Mechanical issues ends the great run.

Coleman Wins the B Main in his Champ Car Debut and is running top 10 when RR blows out. Has to come from the back of the B to Transfer in his 410 Sprint Car and then charges from 24th to 13th in 17 laps only to have a Brake Line fail closing his night out.
Great job by Arizona's Mickey Meyer wrenching the Champ Car and 410 during the Copper World Classic.

Coleman does an excellent job coming from 21st to 10th in his second USAC Silver Crown Race and first at the Phoenix International Raceway. His solid run makes dealing with the woes of the 410 shows more feasible.

It was an excellent Test Day at Phoenix International Raceway for Coleman and Team CGR. Iceman rips off some really fast laps in his newly overhauled Silver Crown Hot Rod. Plus, Team CGR sports a few, highly experienced “new faces” to our growing Team. Coleman’s consistency and times would get him solidly in the show next week.

Friday's ignition problems plague Coleman's efforts for the USAC National but Saturday's MSCS National a different story. Iceman has to fight to get in through the B Main with Chad Boat, Jeff Bland, Jr. and Dave Darland. Passes a lot of good cars to get 12th from 20th. Check out the names in the Finish from Saturday. As one site wrote, "They're all Here".

An 8th place at Wanyesfield Raceway Park in Ohio answers a lot of questions. Coleman up on the wheel late gaining many spots. No ill effects apparent from his injury. Congrats to Stanbrough on his win...

Iceman travels over 3000 miles in the last 10 days and is unable to race due to Weather and Mechanical issues. This coming after the weekend before when we had an A Main Victory, 2nd and a top 10 in our first ever USAC Silver Crown Race. Welcome to the emotional roller coaster that is Racing...
